Greasbrough Nursing Home

Description: To refurbish the toilets and shower rooms in the facility.

The first part of the job was to strip out the existing toilet and remove a solid internal wall from the room, make good all plaster work and re-skim all the walls and ceilings. Contract floors installed the new flooring and the cubicles were installed. Special disabled toilets had to be installed in the cubicles with handrails and a new wash hand basin with a mirror and splash back.

The second part of the job was the removal of existing floor tiles in the shower room and new toilet and wash hand basin installed. The wall panels were installed creating a more modern atmosphere to the room. Two more toilets were then re-furbished with new fittings, and new flooring.

We began work on the staff toilet and changing area after the toilets and shower rooms were complete. To give the room a more modern look, stripping out the existing fittings and installing new toilet and wash-hand basin was essential. The existing bucket sink was re-fitted to save on cost. New cupboards and a false wall were installed to hide the pipe-work that services the taps to the bucket sink.
Finally two first floor toilets were re-furbished along the same lines and a cleaners store had new flooring. All rooms had a new coat of paint upon completion.
